WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ProKidney Corp. (Nasdaq: PROK) (“ProKidney” or the “Company”), a leading late clinical-stage cell therapy company focused on chronic kidney disease (CKD), today announced that it will host a virtual key opinion leader (KOL) event on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM ET. The event will feature nephrology leader and researcher Katherine Tuttle, MD, who will join Company management to discuss new insights into rilparencel’s mechanism of action from research presented at the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) Kidney Week 2026, as well as the potential role of rilparencel in treating patients with advanced CKD and type 2 diabetes (T2D).
Anthony Conway, PhD, ProKidney’s Head of Research and Development, will review key findings from the Company’s ASN presentations and discuss how they contribute to the understanding of rilparencel’s multifactorial mechanism of action. Dr. Tuttle will provide her clinical perspective on the findings, the remaining unmet need for patients with advanced Stage 3b/4 CKD and T2D despite recent therapeutic advances, and where rilparencel may fit within the evolving treatment paradigm. Company management will also provide a corporate update during the event.
